About

CodePlus is a Computer Science (CS) engagement project which focuses on addressing the gender imbalance in the field by engaging female students in CS activities in order to help them make more informed choices about studying CS courses and pursuing careers in the field.

The project has been impacting young people since its inception in Trinity College Dublin in 2015. In 2020, through SFI Discover and industry funding, Lero, the SFI Centre for Software at University of Limerick and the School of Education at the University of Galway also joined the project – expanding the reach of the project goals and impacting nationally.
